Should I Buy on CD or get a microSD Card Version?


You don't have to choose. MapToaster Mobile/NZ is supplied on CD-ROM and for your convenience, we also include a 2GB microSD card with the maps pre-loaded. The microSD card can just be inserted in the GPS for immediate use - no other installation is necessary

If you wish to load MapToaster Mobile/NZ with other maps at the same time, for example with the Garmin BlueWater series, you will need to use the CD. You install the maps from the CD-ROM and use Garmin MapSource software to load the maps onto your GPS unit. MapSource allows you to select maps from mutiple sources to load.

If you have a mapping GPS without a microSD card slot, you will need to use MapSource to load the maps.

The MapToaster Mobile/NZ CD-ROM requires that you have MapSource installed on your PC. MapSource is not included - you should have received a copy when you bought your GPS.

Even though we include the maps on two types of media, you only have one licence. You're not entitled to give one of the copies to anyone else.
